The Website That Proved I Was Serious

I practice what I preach, or maybe it's the other way around.

My own author website is how Lynn's Author Studio was born. A friend saw my site and asked me to design theirs. Then another friend asked…which created an "aha" moment that led to the founding of my design company.

When I started querying, I had two goals: stand out from every other aspiring author, and be viewed as a professional writer—not just someone with a manuscript and a dream. My author website created that credibility. It showed I was a serious writer with published works, a clear brand, and a long-term vision.

The result? Five full manuscript requests and representation with a top literary agent. This website did exactly what it was designed to do: help me get taken seriously by the industry.
